Soundwave uses the best in DJ equipment. From awesome digital computer sound to state of the art lighting, we offer the best in the Siouxland area.
We don't just send a "some time" DJ out with a couple of lights and a back pack with a limited music selection. We have a COMPLETE lighting system, including a 10 foot wide truss system jam packed with colorful high energy lighting, state of the art LED lighting, huge strobe lights, a few super brite flood lights, a couple of florescent black lights, strobe rope lights, turning helicopter style lights, laser lighting, water flowing lights, a ton of pin spots, oh and the sparkle lights........whew!!!!! You get the idea.
And I haven't even mentioned the cool fog and the bubbles, aahh yes, people love those bubbles, especially those little ones.
We have the ENTIRE show, not just a mirror ball and a flashlight (just kidding about the flashlight, I hope nobody shows up with a flashlight).
I got so caught up in the lights, I forgot about the sound.......18" Electrovoice Eliminator Subs offer great bass sound, top 2 of those off with Electrovoice ZX4's and you talk about an awesome combination of sound, you have to hear it to believe it !!! As loud as you want it, or soft enough to talk to your neighbor. Electrovoice is the same company that provides sound for today's hottest touring artists such as Kenny Chesney, The Rolling Stones, AC/DC and ZZ Top.
All that sound travels from Gateway, Dell and Compaq-HP computers utilizing state of the art DJ software from PCDJ (we use both PCDJ Red and PCDJ Blue) that puts quality digital sound right at the DJ's finger tips, literally. We can select a song from our HUGE library in a matter of seconds and have it ready to play at any time. WOW, really??? REALLY. We have over 25,000 songs in our database, chances are if you ask for it, we probably have it. You just might be surprised at what we have, just ask. Everything from 40's to top 40, including Techno, Raggae, Zydeco, Latino and a few more rare genre's. Do the competetors have that?

Anyway, going from the computers to a Numark mixer, complete with it's own EQ build right in! From there, going down to a Roland powered EQ, then running through a Behringer compressor, then it's off to the powerful Amps made by Behringer Europower that pump out over 5000 watts each!!! Back that up with 2000 Watts of Pyle Pro power, that's sick!!!
Did I mention that we use only the best in wireless microphones??? I didn't?? Ok, we use EV's great digital wireless microphone that automatically finds one of 15 clear channels so you don't hear the usual air noise that most traditional microphones use. We have Gemini wireless microphones for you to use that offer clear sound for your toast and/or announcements.
So as you can see, we truely use only the best when it comes to entertaining you and your guests. I am not sure if I can say we are the best (am I tooting my own horn?), but I CAN guarantee you that we are much better than most of our competition !!!!
